Omgosh, so I had to come over here and share this new thing I found out.
Dusting with dryer sheets!!! I read it in First Magazine (my mom sends me them AFTER she's read em) anyway.. that was one of their tips last month, and I have to say it TOTALLY works WAY better than regular dusting.. it picks up SO MUCH stuff!

Re: Dusting!
Mon, March 17, 2008 - 7:08 PMWow, that's a good tip. I usually save the old cotton t-shirts to deep clean with or use a static duster and shake it out the door all the time. I'm getting worn out doing that! Speak of dust, this has got to be the dustiest winter so far. Bri did knock a wall down in the basement, but still it wouldn't be making my house still dusty after a few months right? I still blame the cat litter, but he says it's suppose to be dustless-I don't think so. -

March organizing
Thu, March 20, 2008 - 1:42 PMClear and wipe down counters
Return only the gadgets and appliances you use everyday.
Get new dishtowels and potholders if yours are in bad shape.
Defrost freezer or discard freezer burnt stuff and mystery leftovers.
Clean or replace range hood filter.
Toss expired herbs, yeast and baking powder. Wipe down shelves. Put plastic lids under bottles of cooking oil to catch drips.
Wipe out the inside of the frig. Vacuum coils beneath and behind the frig.
Deodorize cutting boards (I use plastic ones and stick them in the dishwasher).
Scrub plastic and rubber utensils with a paste of baking soda and water.
Clean out the coffeepot with 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts of water.
Run through the brew cycle and then run two cycles with plain water.
Soak oven knobs in soapy water.
Keep your utensils in a heavy flowerpot.
Add herbs to a sunny windowsill.
Put a hook near the sink for your rings and watch while you wash dishes.
Make a central message center. Glue corkboard over the mirror of an old medicine cabinet, Stash pens, a pad and a phone book inside.
(I use a dry eraser board). -

Thu, March 20, 2008 - 8:34 PMNo, it's not me...you are very funny! I clean like that when I am crazy-lol or have company. : )
It's from an old Woman's Day magazine. I will post April's soon. Good ideas about the plastic stuff. I hate when it gets stained with tomato sauce. -
