  I know there is a fix for at least the jacket-maybe lemon juice? Will have to look that one up!

    Seems the consensus was to use hairspray on the ink!
    
    "Saturate the stain with old fashioned Hairspray on both sides of the material before washing in Clorox 2 or another all fabric bleach. (Wash separately.) It's the acetone in the hairspray that does it.
    I learned this one in nursing school, when a pen broke in my pocket. It really works!!!"

      THANKS!!! I'm gonna give it a try.. I'll have to actually go and get some hairspray.. but if it happens again I'll have a supply!

          I do keep hairspray around, but just the Garnier stuff if I have the frizzies on top or just curled my hair.

      Let us know how it works. I don't use ballpoint pens anymore. I use the Pilot fine points-like a skinny flair marker with better ink flow. Being left-handed, if I pick up a ballpoint that someone else has been using, it doesn't work right.
