Too many roles?

I may have mentioned this before, but sometimes I fell pulled in so many directions. I'm not the perfect housewife. If I want to garden, then I'll get out there and maybe have a stirfry from a sack for dinner. To think of how much I should get paid for all these different jobs-well I do indulge myself with nice makeup or a few magazines.

My brother is such a good husband. I think I trained him well (I'm 7 yrs older and he watched me helping my mom and grandmom around the house). Anyway, he finishes up cooking dinner a lot of nights(like he makes rice) and cleans up the kitchen and helps the kids get ready for bed. This is a guy who bends over the open hood of a car all day. I can so tell when guys were mama's boys like my husband. He hardly ever cleans up after dinner for me. Sometimes at 11pm I notice the trash is filled to the brim and smells and I have to ask him to take it out. I will say that most evenings lately, he will clean up piles of debris I have raked up around the yard. I know he works all day, but a few minutes of his time and asking if I need help would be nice to hear.

Brian will make his own lunch, but only after he figured out how expensive it was for him to buy it everyday which he did for about 4-5 yrs. He eats the same thing 5 days a week-ugh!!! I can't stand lunchmeat most of the time and that's all he eats. I told him I'm going to start to make pasta and meat salads for him. He could have had turkey meatloaf today, but he forgot and it was ham and cheese again!
